What’s tracked

With Google Analytics enabled, you’ll see:
  • Detailed page views and sessions
  • User demographics and location
  • Traffic sources
  • User behavior flow
  • Custom events (if configured)

Fathom Analytics

Prefer privacy-focused analytics? We support Fathom:

Tracking embed views

Embed widget views are tracked separately. When users view announcements through your embedded widget:
  • Views are counted in your reports
  • Attributed to the “embed” source
  • Visible in the Reports dashboard

Understanding your data

Check the Top Announcements section in Reports. Consider what made these successful — topic, title, timing, or promotion.
Look at your Views over time chart to identify patterns. Publish when your audience is most active.
If views are low, try:
  • Linking from your app/website
  • Sharing on social media
  • Adding an embed widget
  • Sending email notifications
