Where cover images appear

Cover images are displayed in:
  • Your changelog portal — At the top of the announcement detail page
  • Social media previews — When the announcement URL is shared
  • RSS feeds — As the enclosure/media element
  • Embeds — In widget and inline embeds (if enabled)

Best practices

Create a template with your brand colors and logo. This makes your changelog look professional and recognizable.
Screenshots or mockups of the actual feature work great. Users can immediately see what changed.
Social platforms may crop images differently. Keep text to a headline at most.
Test how your image looks on both light and dark backgrounds.
